Library Propaganda!

Response to '13 Things You Pay For That Your Library Has For Free' [Abridged]
--------------------------
This is a response to the aforementioned article from infotopia. Benjamin Franklin was absolutely right about the importance of libraries as a way to communicate information between people for a better world. Check out some recommended recipients for their list of 13 Things below:
--------------------------
01. Library Access 24/7 - .Online accounts are a dream. You can shop online & hold the book for pickup at your nearest library. Renew books & pay fines instantly.

02. Watch Movies for Free - .Rent 1 or 2 or 5 every time. Get them for your kids yo wife, mom during visits.

03. Read for Free - .This one's for you. Check out one book and one CD* for the car every time you go to the library.

04. Magazines and Newspapers for Free - .For pool season, gym-goers, coffee tables. I like VoguePrevention & Psychology Today.

05. Learn a Foreign Language - Free - .I'm the only 'Merican I know who uses this. Obviously, this is our most useful program. Chandler's is mango, and you can do it while getting ready in the morning because you don't have to read anything, just talk to your computer and match the accents & grammar.

06. Free Books for Parents - .< 8D TUMBLEBOOKS the best.
07. Free Periodical Searches - .I don't use this because I'm not in school.
08. Internet and Wi-Fi - .If you're in school or working on a project, good for getting out & staying focused.
09. Find Your Family History for Free - .for presents for moms, grandmas, especially on holidays
10. Free Auto Repair and other Databases - .Barely broken car-owners. And their siblings. Or enemies.
11. Other Free Services - .Get a tour from the librarian if you really care. They're very nice!

12. Job Preparation for Free - .for you. why not?

The Bottom Line: "Obtaining a library card is simple. Visit the library, present identification with proof of address and you have instant, free access to a world of information. Check out your local library for some amazing programs and unbeatable bargains this summer."

*13. Listen for Free - .NO. THIS GETS EXPENSIVE
